The Atlanta office of a national law firm has an immediate need for a litigation paralegal. This paralegal will join a nationally recognized litigation team whose cases can include products liability, labor and employment and business litigation matters.

We are seeking a paralegal with experience working through all phases of litigation including solid trial preparation with the ability to prioritize and multitask. Must have strong technical skills including MS Word and Excel and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidates are required to have a two-year degree, paralegal certificate OR at least four years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm.

The responsibilities of this litigation paralegal will include:

• Performing legal research
• Performing electronic discovery
• Preparing deposition materials and summaries
• Calendaring dates and deadlines
• Drafting legal documents
• Creating and maintaining case chronologies
• Creating and coordinating organizational tracking systems for large document collection
• E-filing with courts
• Assist with trial preparation including preparing trial, deposition and court binders and assisting with exhibits
• Preparing for and attending depositions, arbitrations, trials and hearings
