A growing logistics firm/courier service in North Central Austin has an immediate need for a logistics and dispatch coordinator to handle the evening shift of a fast-paced work environment. This is a great opportunity for a team player with logistics experience who is looking to expand their career. This is an in-office role. Hours are Mon & Tuesday 5:15pm - 12:30am, Saturday & Sunday 7pm-7am.
Responsibilities:
-Handle incoming phone calls/emails/faxes from independent vendors
-Coordinate with drivers
-Communicate information efficiently and effectively
-Track order progress and report to customers
Requirements:
-Strong communication and computer skills
-Expereince in the logistics and operations field
-Knowledge of dispatch software a plus!
