Logistics Operations Manager

Distribution company in Fort Mill is looking for an Operations Manager. Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Temp-to-perm. $45-50k.

Job Duties:

  • Supervise day-to-day activities that ensure an efficient and smooth workflow
  • Maintain and improve operational systems, processes and best practices that guarantee organizational well-being
  • Overseeing inventory, distribution of goods, and facility
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of customer service, orders, accounting, and general front office personnel
  • Collaborate with the Orders and Accounting team on verification
  • Customer service: Answering and/or making phone calls/emails with customer questions
  • Payroll management
  • Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team
  • Oversee renewing business licenses, certifications, and other documents
  • Knowledge of business and management principles and practices
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices
  • Knowledge of human resource principles and practices

Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent
  • 2 years of work experience as operations manager
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer Oriented - Ability to serve clients by focusing effort on meeting client's needs, understanding their concerns, and seeking to build
  • Detail Oriented: Must have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Problem Solving - Ability to find efficient solutions for order-related
  • Organized - Possessing the trait of being organized and following a systematic method of performing a
  • Business Acumen - Ability to grasp and understand business concepts and
  • Well organized, team oriented, and high motivated
