Reputable Investment Management group in search of a Market Data Business Specialist to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

- Provide internal investment professionals a comprehensive consulting-oriented service focued on market data application and investment data needs

- Apply knowledge of investment process to understand user requirements for sourcing external market data services and investment related data

- Work with users to clairfy, articulate, and document their needs and evaluate, procure and implement solutions that meet those needs

- Analyze vendor proposals and negotiate appropriate agreements and contracts

- Identify synergies and strategies across proposed projects and provide relevant guidance

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in business related field required, MBA preferred

- 5+ years of relevant work experience, with 1+ years of financial services industry experience

- Knowledge of core market data applications (Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P)

- Knowledge of financial informtion tracking systems preferred
