Our client, a professional association in Arlington, VA is seeking a temporary Meetings & Events Assistant to support their team!

About You:

• 2+ years of programmatic and events experience is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Professional, personable, and organized.
• Possess high attention to detail and excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Must be comfortable talking with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to be 100% on-site at the Arlington, VA location.

The Job:

• Assist with meeting logistics; handle registration in AMS (NetForum).
• Assist with the contracting and management of service vendors (i.e., transportation, brochures, supplies, floral and décor, meeting supply companies, signage vendors, etc.) as meetings dictate.
• Maintain calendars of events and meetings reports.
• Organize and confirm vendor agreements and correspond with sponsors.
• Complete additional meetings and events related duties as assigned.
