One of our top clients in South Eastern, WI is hiring an Accociate Manager of Data Center Operations to deliver engineering and operations support for their Data Centers and Global Network Closets.

The Accociate Manager of Data Center Operations will be responsible for managing the network closet and Data Center infrastructures, ensuring high availability and maintaining the security and efficenty of the data center.

Responsibilities:

• Data Center and Network Closet Space allocation & Capacity Management (Technical & Mechanical)
• Vendor Management
• Data Center Environmental Controls (SOAR), ensuring the proper availability and reliability, power, and cooling of the facility.
• Working closely with Facilities and team members planning power outages, during annual power grid testing and during unplanned power outages at sites

Preferred Skills:

• Relevant certifications including Network Certifications (e.g.CDCP, CDCS, CCNA, Network+)
• Ability to translate technical terminologies into understandable terms while working with clients of widely varying computer skills
• Telecom experience (e.g. legacy/modern telephony systems, IVR, VOIP) a plus.
• ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations certification a plus
• Familiarity with disaster recovery and business continuity planning, including backup systems and failover strategies
