As an MES Software Technician you will provide onsite system support for information projects using MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) product software, particularly Factory Talk Production Center (FTPC), and other advanced software solutions. You will work on moderate to complex projects, collaborating with project managers and regional delivery managers to ensure successful project execution. This role requires a deep understanding of customer requirements, system design, programming, deployment, testing, and training. Additionally, you will identify and address program support deficiencies, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document customer requirements, determining the appropriate information system solution and control configuration/architecture.
  • Design conceptual information systems, develop system strategies, and assemble programming.
  • Provide onsite system startup, deployment, testing, and training.
  • Understand IT/OT industry-specific applications, particularly around information solutions, analytics, and MES.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor resources for projects, managing timescales and estimates.
  • Provide verbal and written reports to communicate project status and contribute to project review meetings.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional experience producing technical/functional work products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
  • 3+ years of related control systems application experience.
  • Knowledge of industrial controllers and communications protocols.
  • Understanding of computer networks configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
