This is a REMOTE position!

Our client is looking for a .Net Developer Lead on a 6 month contract to hire basis.

The .Net Developer Lead is responsible for creating, maintaining, and supporting internally developed applications and services in .NET, C#, SQL and Java. They will collaborate with users and teams to identify application issues and develop solutions. The Application Development maintains integrity of data related to all applications in use. They will also create report from both internally developed applications and 3rd party applications to help our team make more informed decisions.

Position Duties:

  • Analyze/design/code/test/implement applications according to company/industry best practices and standards.
  • Full life cycle development including new development, maintenance and design.
  • Develop and maintain documentation according to team standards.
  • Provide on-call support and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor the performance and stability of applications.
  • Manage code deployment across environments
  • Communicate progress on tasks to the Project Manager

Education & Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in C#, .NET, Visual Studio, MVC, Java, Java Script
  • At least 3 years of experience using a relational database such as MS SQL Server or MySQL or Oracle
  • Advanced knowledge of writing stored procedures, triggers. Should be able to write complex queries.
  • Experience using a source control system such as GitHub or Bitbucket or MS TFS
  • Experience creating reports from MS SQL Server Reporting Services or other industry recognized tools. Should have experience with SQL Server Integration Services.
  • Experience in writing automated unit tests
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills. Experience in troubleshooting production support issues.
  • Having knowledge and experience implementing leading design patterns
  • Having experience using tools like Jira, TFS, Azure DevOps and build tool like Maven or inbuilt Visual Studio/TFS
  • Experience with HTML and CSS. Should have knowledge of responsive design
  • Experience developing WCF services and Web APIs
