Our client is seeking a Help Desk Support Specialist to join their team. This is a contract to hire opportunity with an excellent direct client of Beacon Hill.

Title: Help Desk Support Specialist

Open to the following locations: Raleigh, NC

Duration: 3-6 months contract to hire

Client Industry: Government

Hybrid/Remote: Hybrid- 3 Days a week on site, 2 days remote (your choice)

Available Shifts: Second Shift 2pm-10pm Sun-Thurs OR Tues-Sat

Top Skills:

• Required
• 1+ year of help desk or call center experience.
• Must be able to type 45+ WPM.
• Live Chat and/or any Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software tools (Salesforce preferred).
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance.

About the role:

• Candidate applies basic helpdesk support skills, company policies, and procedures in a Tier 1 Help Desk environment providing live chat sessions and email support for products and services on our clients .com website.
• Provide end user assistance via live chat sessions that are routine to moderately complex in nature and require basic problem resolution and independent judgement.
• Maintain end to end problem ownership of chat and email sessions. Candidate will be required to handle up to three chat session at one time.
