NOTE: This is a 100 % Remote Position. Selected Candidate will be working on East Coast Hours.
Looking for a Smartsheet Developer with the following skills:
Responsibilities:
- Develop Reporting Solutions: Create reporting solutions to support better business decision-making, including extracting key data and managing operational dashboards to monitor relevant data sets.
- Production Support: Provide production support for critical Smartsheet customizations and builds, supporting program management planning and reporting for Enterprise Technology.
- End-User Support: Respond to and resolve end-user support tickets efficiently and effectively.
- Automation and Tools Development: Develop tools, automation, and scripts to facilitate platform maintenance, improve operational efficiency, enhance reliability, and support Smartsheet administration.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support across multiple levels of testing before releasing new features or enhancements.
- Root Cause Analysis: Independently identify and resolve the root causes of system issues.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative and data reporting tasks as required.
- Collaboration and Solution Roadmaps: Collaborate with teams to develop solution roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business needs and technological capabilities.
- Change Management: Support change management initiatives and validate vendor-planned maintenance activities.
- Documentation and SOPs: Assist in creating Standard Operating Procedures, documentation, and training materials for end-users.
- End-User Service: Deliver excellent service and support to end-users, ensuring a smooth user experience.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Smartsheet Expertise: Advanced Smartsheet certification with 3-5 years of hands-on development experience configuring and building Smartsheet solutions.
- Software Development: 3-5 years of experience working as a software developer within an Agile delivery team.
- Production Support: 3 years of production support experience, with strong end-user engagement.
- Smartsheet Administration: Expertise in administering, configuring, and building solutions in Smartsheet, including Data Shuttle, DataMesh, and other premium Smartsheet applications.
- Smartsheet Functional Areas: Familiarity with Smartsheet's functional areas like Control Center, workspaces, power apps, sheets, reports, and dashboards.
- Integration Experience: Experience integrating Smartsheet with other platforms such as JIRA, Clarity, ServiceNow, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Technical Support and Upgrades: Experience testing, performing upgrades, making configuration changes, and applying bug fixes.
- Customization and Reporting: Expertise in customizing workflows, setting up dashboards, and generating reports.
- Data Management: Proficient in advanced formulas for handling large datasets, with experience in large-scale data management and analytics.
- Technical Skills: Excellent analytical, debugging, and technical problem-solving skills.
- IT Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT applications, processes, and software, including product management and software development lifecycles.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Teams, SharePoint, Excel).
- Training and Mentoring: Ability to train and mentor others on Smartsheet capabilities and processes.
- Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
