Our client, an architectural company, is looking for an Office and Interior Design Administrator to join their team in the Chicago West Loop area. In this position, you will support a range of activities and processes with the firm's HR/Office Manager, Marketing Manager, Project teams and Interior Designers. This position pays up to $20/hr.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating industry rep visits for materials updates and lunches and updating contact information in central database. - Virtual meetings/presentations for now
  • Organizing and keeping current interior and architectural material samples, being a resource for material selection and possibly involved in offering material alternatives as directed
  • Maintaining the existing samples, keep spaces tidy, and ensure their correct location
  • Ordering new samples and returning samples to vendors as well as assembling material boards and binders for internal and client-facing presentation
  • Assisting with project and marketing presentations using In-design
  • Assisting with information search requests for design team members
  • Preparing material pallets and selections for meetings
  • Developing an understanding of and helping to facilitate storage needs for active and complete projects, working closely with all project teams
  • Being the primary resource for administering project archiving standards throughout the project lifecycle (digital and physical clean up and archiving), mentoring project staff on protocols for proper digital and physical lifecycle management
  • Contributing otherwise as required with daily office operations

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Extreme Organization Skills
  • Ability is needed to keep accurate information and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to manage time efficiently
  • Being flexible to manage conflicting demands and able to prioritize duties and work under pressure
  • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills
