Our client, a law firm, is looking for an Office Services Manager to join their team in the downtown Chicago area. In this position, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the Chicago office.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the Office Services personnel and support services department to include ordering and stocking of supplies, organizing workflow product, the conference room reservation system, and maintenance of the support services area and equipment.
  • Maintain communication and work flow with Chief Integration and Development Officer to improve office operations and procedures.
  • In partnership with legal personnel and marketing, coordinates special functions and events for attorneys and professional staff, as well as events for clients and affiliated organizations.
  • Creates an efficient and effective working environment for attorneys
  • Organizes and manages calendars
  • Works with building management on day-to-day facilities issues such as building security, cleaning and maintenance, heating and air conditioning, and general tenant
  • issues.
  • Works with Accounting to process office-related invoices in a timely manner.
  • Participate in peer group meetings with other Chicago area law firm
  • Works with IT management on appropriate timing and scheduling of system maintenance, upgrades and rollouts, user training and IT-related client service

About You:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in office services management
  • Strong organizational, administrative, interpersonal, written and oral communication
  • skills.
  • Effective leadership, team building and management skills
  • Strong conflict resolution
  • Ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
