Our client, a non-profit organization, is seeking a temporary-to-hire part-time Grant Writer to support their team in Washington, DC!
About You:
- 3+ years of grant writing experience, ideally for a non-profit.
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office and SharePoint.
- Organized with high attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication and multitasking skills.
The Job:
- Consult with Directors to develop ongoing strategy for maintaining and bringing in grants.
- Draft and submit letters of introduction, interest, applications, and grant proposals.
- Research additional foundation and government grants.
- Maintain a schedule of grants and application due dates.
- Follow-up with various actors to ensure timely completion of grants.
