Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Patent Prosecution Paralegal in Chicago to join an international law firm. Paralegals are in office once a month, this is a full-time non-exempt position, with full benefits, and competitive compensation (ranging from $80K- $115K+).

Required Skills and Job Duties include the following:

• Demonstrate and apply in-depth knowledge of patent filing and prosecution practices in the USPTO, PCT, and major jurisdictions worldwide.
• Stay up-to-date with current patent laws and practices.
• Monitor, maintain, and clear dockets for due dates and prepare reminders to attorneys and clients as needed.
• Coordinate and interact effectively with attorneys, clients, and other patent paralegals and specialists on domestic and international patent matters.
• Compose correspondence to attorneys and clients regarding all aspects of patent prosecution.
• Review and process incoming correspondence from USPTO, WIPO, and foreign associates.
