Requirements

  • Must have strong communication/ customer service skills
  • Must have basic PC, outlook, excel, work experience
  • Experience working within Pharmacy-retail or any experience working within a clinical setting.
  • If they have any direct infusion or DME background or knowledge that would be great-easier to train and or have familiarity with drug names/ or DME Equipment
  • Open to LPNs and Medical Assistants as well.
  • Will be responsible for setting up patients to obtain Option Care Services/ DME
  • Work with referral sources, Care coordinators, Nursing staff, pharmacy, and other areas as needed.
  • Responsible for collecting any docs needed to complete the services setup.
  • Looking for a minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Previous experience with prior authorizations/ referrals to setup DME Equipment
  • Will be assisting patients to trouble shoot questions around equipment
  • Will be taking "re-orders" for DME Equipment-(Patients have previously orders) and reverifying patients insurance they are covered---normally, every 30 days.
  • The other Team -Intake Order team-takes all the initial request
    • High-tech respiratory machines
    • Ventilators
    • Trach Care
    • Very minimal-Bed and Walkers
  • Experience with verifying a patient's insurance---not just through a patient portal.
  • Must be okay working with (3) Monitor Screens-multitasking and being fast paced.
  • Strong attention to detail as well.
  • Average amount of calls for the reorder team are between 20-25 orders per day.
