Our client, a growing family office located just outside of Boston (Metro West) is looking to hire a Portfolio Controller. This newly created position will be instrumental in building out the finance function within the family office as well as handling the day-to-day oversight of the office investment portfolio. Responsibilities associated with the position will include but not be limited to; cash flow management, bank reconciliation, TPA oversight/review, investment performance reporting, vendor oversight, annual tax filing support, and ad-hoc accounting/finance projects.
The ideal candidate for this position will offer 7+ years of progressive industry experience. A foundation in public accounting (financial services audit/tax) is strongly preferred as is accounting/finance experience within private equity, real estate, family office, or private funds environment. Successful candidates will be able to work within the detail while also understanding the bigger picture. Experience with system/technology implementation is highly preferred.
Our client is prepared to offer a competitive base salary and bonus based on experience and additionally has excellent employee benefits. This is a hybrid position with the in-office expectation of 3-4 days per week.
