Procurement Category Manager - Remote
We are working with a biotechnology company headquartered in Boston, MA that is seeking a fully remote Procurement Category Manager to join their team and focus on managing the RFP process and contract negotiations. This is a contract role for approximately 4 months with the potential to be extended.
Responsibilities:
- Manager two procurement categories
- Gather business requirements from key stakeholders
- Manage RPF process to evaluate suppliers
- Perform pricing analysis
- Negotiate and execute contractors
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships
- Track supply chain KPIs
- Collaborate with Finance for budgeting and forecasting
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of procurement experience
- Biotech or pharma industry experience is highly preferred
- Experience with NetSuite or Coupa is a plus!
- Intermediate Excel skills
