Primary Purpose of the Production Control Coordinator under limited supervision, will plan, schedule implement and monitor production activities, ensuring contract requirements, product specifications, and deadlines are met. Coordinates with other departments for the resolution of issues and problems. Exercises initiative in arranging details to attain job objectives.

Basic Function of the Production Control Coordinator is:

• Reviews contract specification, sales orders and other project documents to understand all requirements.
• Schedules and coordinates work with appropriate department associate(s) so that projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Identifies, acquires, and ensures the availability of materials supplies.
• Maintains records related to production data and performance including volume produced.
• Maintains daily, weekly, and monthly inventories of materials and finished good.
• Coordinates production and shipping activities, resolves issues and delays through collaboration with fellow associates, vendors, and customers.
• Revises production schedules to address issues such as labor, material shortages, backlogs, or design changes.
• Miscellaneous duties and special projects as requested
