Beacon Hill Legal is working with our Am Law 100 client on a Professional Litigation Assistant opportunity. This role is hybrid and potential candidates must live within commuting distance of their LA office in Century City to be onsite 2-3 days per week.

Essential Functions

Creates, edits, formats and proofreads documents.

Prepares legal documents for eFiling and filing via PACER.

Communicates to and on behalf of his or her attorney using Firm technology.

Prepares new client matter request packet and coordinates approval; coordinates conflict search processes; prepares retainer letters.

Reviews proformas and edits bills according to client billing arrangement.

Enters, tracks and coordinates new client/matter information.

Edits and coordinates client pitches with Marketing Department.

Maintains InterAction and/or Extranet data.

Maintains electronic and paper files in accordance with Firm guidelines.

Maintains and monitors attorney calendars.

Coordinates and/or books travel arrangements.

Prepares, tracks and maintains attorney expenses in Chrome River.

Organizes and coordinates conference calls and client meetings.

Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Work additional hours as needed to fulfill job requirements.
