A nonprofit Senior Adult Day Facility is seeking a Program Manager for their facility. This is a full-time position with opportunity to go permanent.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

Location: Roslindale, MA

REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Gerontology, Sociology or related field
  • 2+ years experience in direct care of elderly or chronically disabled persons
  • 1+ years experience in an administrative leadership role.
  • Sensitivity to the needs of elders and disabled populations of all socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Ability to work cooperatively as a multi-disciplinary team leader. Experience in geriatric settings.
  • Ability to be flexible with work assignments.
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in written English
  • Must be ServSafe Certified, or become certified after first 30days of hire.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures smooth and safe daily operations (including weekends if applicable).
  • Develop, implement, coordinate and evaluate multi-disciplinary health care plan for each Adult Day Program Participant.
  • Work closely with Compliance Specialist to ensure compliance and train staff on all existing health and safety standards and regulations that apply to Adult Day Health Programs in Massachusetts, including compliance with OSHA regulations for blood borne pathogens and assisting staff to get TB testing.
  • Recruit, hire, train educate, supervise and evaluate all program staff.
  • Ensure Medicaid required in-service training's are fulfilled.
  • Ensure all regulated requirements are followed for client care, facility and food monitoring.
  • Responsible for Child and Adult Food Care Program (CACFP) documentation, practices and oversight
  • Responsible to ensure compliance of all ADH policies and procedures.
  • Assume the role of coordinator in the admissions process and in conjunction with the Social services, Nurse, and activities staffing.
  • Assist Assistant Managers/Director with Daily and weekly staffing scheduling as required.
  • Provide daily operational support to the kitchen, front office, transportation and social services as needed.
  • Ensure efforts are always in place to maintain optimal census.
  • Assist in the coordination of transportation services.
  • In conjunction with the Director, monitor budgetary spending and revenue.
  • Ensure all required reporting is complete.
  • Ensure outreach plan is in place.
  • Agree to work as assigned. Given the nature of this work, any and all employees will sometimes be required to work outside their regularly scheduled hours/days. Advance notice is not always possible, but will be given when it is.
  • Audit and monitor all client charts to ensure compliance.
