Our client, a family office, is seeking a Property Manager for a private property in Southampton, New York. This is an exciting opportunity at a brand new property of a prominent family in NJ/NY. Seeking a hardworking, flexible candidate with knowledge of private home management, budgeting, and staff management. This is an onsite position and the hours during the off season (typically September - May) are 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. During high season in the summer, schedules will vary with weekend work and overtime required. Excellent opportunity to join a collegial and respectful work environment!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily household operations including care and maintenance of property, hospitality, insurance, package management, and staff scheduling
- Establish more efficient operational standards and best practices in conjunction with the family
- Provide resort level hospitality services
- Develop and manage processes for vendor management and inventory control
- Review household bills, create and oversee budgets, and provide regular reports
- Handle research and development for special projects
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events and special engagements
- Serve as leadership for team of domestic staff including Housekeepers, Facilities Manager, House Managers, Housemen, Butlers, Chefs
Qualifications:
- College degree
- 5+ years experience managing a large-scale domestic household
- Experience with VIP service, budgeting, and staff management
- Ability to follow through on initiatives when working independently
- Comfortability working in a home with children and pets
- Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and 24/7 availability
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and Apple products
Compensation/Benefits:
- Up to 140k to 165k plus bonus
