Our client, a non-profit organization, is seeking a temporary Quantitative Research Associate to support their team in Washington, DC!

About You:

• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience required.
• Experience with research software such as Stata, R, SPSS, Python, or ArcGIS required.
• Strong MS Excel and Office experience required.
• Strong computer skills and experience required (experience handling large data sets and models preferred).
• Detail-oriented and organized with excellent time/project management and oral/written communication skills.

The Job:

• Manage/review datasets, replicate research results, and check summary products produced from datasets for accuracy.
• Check Excel spreadsheets against source materials and review statistical code for accuracy.
• Process/analyze data and reproduce complicated statistical results.
• Compose/review tables and figures generated from datasets and conduct desktop research projects.
• Compare results/conclusions in draft research products against raw data, summary tables, and figures to ensure accuracy.
• Other tasks as assigned/required.

This is a temporary position that pays $25/hr-$26/hr and is slated to last for 7 months (with the possibility of going permanent and converting to a salary of $56K-$58K).
