Beacon Hill is looking for several mid to senior-level Full Stack Developers proficient with Angular2 and Java, comfortable owning the entire SDLC process in a collaborative environment. This position is a 6-12 month (headcount and budget already approved) with a Fortune 100 healthcare client we partner closely with and is available entirely remote.

Position: Full Stack Developer (Angular/Java)

Duration: 6-12 month C2H

Location: Remote

Interview Process: 1 technical round with the Hiring Manager

Must Haves:

• 2+ years of experience in one or more Typescript frontend frameworks (Angular 4+, React, etc.)
• 4+ years of experience implementing REST services, ideally implemented with Java 8+ and SpringBoot
• Some experience in deploying to a cloud platform (Kubernetes, PCF, GCP, Azure, AWS, etc.)
• Some experience with TDD, in both frontend and backend technologies
• Some experience with agile methodology and pair programming (XP, Scrum, etc.) - candidate must be willing to pair program
• Familiar with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins)
• Familiar with maintaining and interacting with databases (Oracle, PostGres, etc.)
• Familiar with software release management tools (Pivotal Tracker, JIRA, Rally, etc.)
• Capability to mentor junior and mid-level engineer resources and move into a lead role in the future

Responsibilities:

A firm understanding of Java development principles and agile methodologies is crucial for success in the role.

• Work in a paired programming collaborative environment, contributing to agile ceremonies
• Lead the design of efficient and user-friendly software products to advance and support business needs
• Develop frontend and backend code utilizing test-driven development
• To be successful in this role, it is important that you have a deep knowledge of various cloud infrastructure hardware and software such as Openstack, AWS, GCP, and Azure, as well as the underlying architecture for hyper-converged technologies and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
