The Opportunity
In this role you will have the opportunity to be involved in a lot of different aspects of our oligonucleotide and gene editing work, for example processing and analyzing samples from in vitro and in vivo studies will be just one of your areas of work. You'll be expected to work through molecular techniques like RNA/protein extraction, RT-PCR, RT-qPCR, ELISA, western blot, and next-generation sequencing. You'll also have the opportunity to maintain and culture cell lines for in vitro studies, as well as developing and executing cell-based assays for validating biological activity of oligonucleotide therapeutics and novel gene-editing medicines. Lastly, you'll have the opportunity to prepare SOPs and other reports and publications.

The Necessities

To thrive on our team, you will need to come with:

• Your BS/MS in molecular biology, pharmacology, biochemistry or similar field with at least 2+ years of lab or industrial research experience
• Hands-on biochemistry experience, such as PCR, RT-qPCR, ELISA, fluorescence microscopy, Western blotting, and flow cytometry
• Experience in mammalian cell and tissue culturing is required.
• Experience in CRISPR gene-editing, next-generation sequencing, and/or bioinformatics is highly desirable
• Familiarity of graphic software and Microsoft Office
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary team with strong communication skills, and desire to work in an innovative and collaborative environment pursuing high reward science
