Our client, a hotel in Washington, DC, is seeking a temporary-to-hire Reservation Agent & Group Coordinator to support their team!

About You:

• 1+ years of hospitality experience required.
• Expert knowledge of Word and Excel; must be technologically savvy.
• Detail-oriented and organized with excellent customer service, interface, and time management skills.
• Understanding of rooms merchandising and yield management processes.
• Ability to be 100% on-site at the Washington, DC location; ability to work 1 weekend day per month.

The Job:

• Assist the reservations team with hotel reservations/group bookings; coordinate with outside planners for group bookings/accommodations.
• Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone/fax/email.
• Input and access data in reservation system (Opera) and Microsoft Excel.
• Manage phone lines; answer questions regarding hotel facilities and services, airline partnerships, local attractions, directions, etc.
• Complete additional tasks and provide support as required.

This is a temporary-to-hire position that pays $20/hr when temporary and converts to $21/hr when made permanent.
