As a Business Systems Analyst you will assist in leading, configuring, and supporting Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Cash Flow Reporting in the Public Sector.

You must be an excellent communicator and understand complex financial/logistical processes that are completed in a SAP environment, as well as supporting daily operations, month end activities, and project support for the next six to twelve months. Location: Greater Sacramento - Hybrid or Fully Remote

Duration: 6 month Contract with possible extensions

  • Required Skills:

    • 5-8+ years of experience as SAP BSA
    • 5-8+ years of experience with any of the following SAP modules:
      • Accounts Payable (AP): invoicing
      • Controlling (CO)
      • Materials Management (MM): inventory management, invoice verification, central purchasing, board approved contracts
      • Funds Management (FM)
      • General Ledger (GL)
      • Project Systems (PS)
    • Experience with testing SAP module and system, gathering requirements, and interface with end users/ clients who will are requesting changes to the system

    Plus:

    • Public sector experience (lenient on module experience if has this)
    • SAP S4 Hana experience/ migration
    • SAP Certificate (highly preferred)
    • CPA certificate

Responsibilities:

  • Will be a level III contractor so will train the team on SAP
  • Oversee and participates in the development of requirements with customers
  • Works directly with Developers to explain business requirements
  • Track and manage progress of deliverables
  • Confers with the FILO Supervisor and Resource Manager to coordinate resources, deliverable progress, and track problems in their functional/module areas
  • Oversees projects, problem solving, prioritized work item escalations, and business continuity
  • Assumes responsibility for assigned services and activities with the technical resources to support the daily business operations and aid in resolving issues with users and the system
  • Gather and document business requirements and follow the waterfall method of documenting the progress of the deliverables
  • Works both as an independent and group contributor to efficiently complete prioritize work items, while coordinating activities to meet critical deadlines
  • Develop and maintain cooperative, effective working relationships with others through clear/effective communication
