SENIOR ACCOUTANT: DETAILS
Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Murfreesboro
Start Date: ASAP
Total compensation: $70-75K
Type: Contract-to-hire
Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CT | Monday - Friday
REQUIREMENTS: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
* GAAP experience
* Someone who understands the full accounting cycle
* Experience with account reconciliation
* 4-year B.S. in Finance/Accounting required
* 3-4+ years of accounting experience preferred
* Easily adaptable
* Experience using Workday Finance and Accounting and/or Prism reporting platform preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
* Organize and update financial records for monthly close
* Prepare journal entries, analyses, and assisting with monthly close process
* Review monthly operational financial statements and investigate variances
* Perform monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
* Respond to information requests from various departments and management
* Prepare documentation for external auditors, banking institutions, and tax accountants.
