Our client is an American full-service bank and wealth management company offering personal banking, business banking, trust, and wealth management services. They're looking for a Senior Contracts Management Associate for their San Francisco office.

What you'll do as a Senior Associate, Contracts:

The Senior Associate will review MSAs, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Amendments, SOWs, and Order Forms for a wide variety of products and services including technology and consulting services.

  • Develop, structure, and negotiate legal and business terms and conditions
  • Coordinate and contribute to all stages of the contract lifecycle including contract review, negotiation, maintenance, and termination
  • Manage contract terms within the Bank's contract management platform
  • Establish and develop close working relationships across internal subject matter experts such as information security and compliance
  • Familiar with key terms and conditions that are common to various types of vendor agreements including but not limited to SaaS, licensing, hardware, and professional services agreements
  • Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and processes

About you:

  • JD degree and actively licensed to practice in one or more United States jurisdictions required
  • 4+ years of relevant experience with a financial institution or corporate environment preferred
  • Experience negotiating against vendor counsel
  • Understanding of the requirements of working in a regulated environment and the controls that are necessary to be successful in the financial services industry
  • Familiarity with fundamental contract terminology and negotiations
  • High degree of proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Archer or other Enterprise Risk Systems, and/or any contract lifecycle management platforms
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
