Job Description

• Lead cross-functional projects to completion in a distributed environment

• Create project plans, project charters, budget forecasts, risk assessments and other project documents

• Engage engineering teams/leadership and gather technical requirements on cross functional projects

• Ensure requirements are translated into actionable technical solutions

• Be proactive in communicating project risks with confidence and clearly articulated project impact

Skill set:

• Senior level Project Manager with 5+ years' experience managing multiple concurrent projects both small, medium, and large projects. 7-12 at a time.

• Infrastructure experience is desired, mix of app development and infrastructure is fine.

• Work with several different 3rd party vendors for software/infrastructure services responsibilities Experience working with external vendors; they work with multiple messaging partners, Kronos and large CMS vendors.

• Can run a project plan for short life cycle projects: 6-8 weeks in length, 7-12 projects at a time. Manage the scope, schedule, and budgets from inception to completion.

• Work with the internal Engineering and Information Technology teams to order/procure/install infrastructure equipment needed for initiatives

• Can manage communication plans across multiple entities.

• Responsible for all project planning, kick-off meetings, go-live meetings, follow-up planning and requirement progress

• Must be technical enough to lead projects and connect all the dots and lead meetings with many different individuals often. -

• Adherence to project standards and execution for the team's infrastructure projects

• Tools currently used; Jira, Confluence and MS project

Qualifications

5+ Years of Project Management experience, preferred focused on engineering

Experience working with engineers and engineering leadership to understand technical requirements and implement project plans

Excellent organization and communication skills

Ability to plan and execute engineering focused projects

Understanding of the software development life cycle

Experience managing projects in Jira, and other project management platforms

Experience in high growth tech startups, preferred
