Job Title: IBM AS400 Sr. Developer
Location: Full Remote; Team is based in Dallas and must be open to working CST hours
Duration: 3-6 month contract to hire
Start Date: ASAP
Must Haves:
- Must have experience designing, coding, analyzing, and unit testing prior to code deployment
- AS400/iSeries/iBMI (5+ years experience)
- DB2/Databases
- SQL/SEQUEL
- RPG3/RPG4/ Free Format programming language experience (5+ years experience preferred)
- COBOL/CBLLE
- Synon/Cool 2E to write business logic and convert to RPG format experience (5+ years experience preferred- not required)
- ILE - RPG/COBOL
- CLP/CLLE
- Aldon/Change Management
- SDLC Processes
Bonus Skills:
- Healthcare or Claims experience
- Synon experience
Responsibilities:
There is an influx in project load as their portfolio keeps growing; this team supports the RXClaims application for a Fortune 10 Healthcare company. These projects are compliance, regulatory related projects that come from several different business units and company clients.
- Technically and functionally sound.
- Project owner and technical lead experience, and understand and translate requirements to development team from conception to completion
