About the Job:

The position provides accounting support of a specialized nature to achieve department and corporate goals and objectives. Responsibilities include preparing entries, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations. Work is of a confidential nature and requires some analysis and preparation of reports with recommended actions.

Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Cost accounting experience
• Manufacturing experience
• Prepare journal entries & monthly closing of books
• Comfortable reviewing financial statements
• Assist with audit preparation
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Ad Hoc reporting as needed
• Assist in reconciliations of accounts to identify discrepancies
• Enter new vendors, ensure proper documentation, W-9s, payment terms
• Review accounts receivable, record cash receipts from customers
• Respond to vendor or customer inquiries, reconcile discrepancies
• Year end 1099 reporting
• Record and Post online EFT vendor payments

Education/Experience:

• 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred, equivalent work experience and education will be considered
• 2+ years of Accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• in office for 1st year, then hybrid
