Beacon Hill Financial just teamed up with a great non-profit located in the DC area looking for their next Sr. Staff Accountant. The Sr. Staff Accountant will work directly with the Accounting Manager and will be working with billing, revenue recognition and full cycle accounts payable. Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly federal grants, fixed price, and temporary restricted revenue schedule.
• Create and maintain invoice templates in accordance with contract requirements.
• Reconcile revenue to the general ledger and to the customer sub ledger.
• Request and review electronic ACH and wire transfers information from customer
• Be involved in the full accounts payable cycle from vendor set-up to payment
• Process expenses charged to credit cards and reconcile monthly credit cards statements.
• Reconcile A/P aging report to general ledger account
• Prepare and maintain prepaids, fixed assets and deferred rent amortization schedules
• Reconcile general ledger accounts as assigned
• Perform an analysis of monthly accounting records of labor and other direct costs expenses.
• Conduct monthly and yearly financial statement analysis and report on variances
• Prepare schedules as requested by the auditors and provide documentation and other information as needed to ensure an efficient audit process.
