Will manage security and permission levels of the SharePoint DOT websites for different grades and accounts adhering to the standards. Publishing and maintaining the content on DOT internet production sites with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant standards. Plan, manage, and execute deliverables and timelines associated with Microsoft SharePoint. Automate and integrate SharePoint with different platforms like Informatica and ticketing systems like Cherwell. Be involved in provisioning of MS Teams application and creating security groups for the Microsoft Teams and maintaining security and features within the application. Maintain the content and layout structure of the Department of Transportation (DOT) intranet and internet websites. Design the Intranet website using BootStrap & jQuery and turn it mobile responsive as per the client requirements. Extensively work on SharePoint hosted and Provider hosted apps. Develop various portals with extensive standards using SharePoint Framework (SPFX), Angular JS, JavaScript, CSOM, JSOM, and REST as per the requirements. Participate in the System Development Life Cycle discussions and provide contributions with the technical expertise in determining any conflict within the software requirements. Maintain O365 apps like Power Automate, Power Apps, and Teams in the Production environment. Playing a key role in one-on-one sessions with the End users, Business Users, and Power users to understand and enhance the Intranet website as per user feedback. Resolve the SharePoint tickets (issues/access requests/change managements) in the Cherwell incident Management systems and providing timely resolution without breaching the ticket timeline. Create and design workflows for Business users and provision the same on their department sites to an easy approval process that involves conditional and complex security workflow logic. Provide technical support for Division SharePoint Administrators with designing and maintaining various workflows of SharePoint Designer, Nintex. Educate users through the Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions for the best usage of the intranet website as per their job responsibilities. Communicate and collaborating with Microsoft Engineers to debug and resolve complex unresolved issues. Identify and resolve system issues proactively. Performing daily monitoring and troubleshooting of the platform components, installs and configures patches and upgrades as required.
Position requires up to 100% domestic travel. This position is for full-time, salaried (W-2), permanent employment.
Requirements: Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field plus one year of experience in the Software industry which includes experience in SharePoint online Administration. Employer will accept experience pre or post Master's Degree
