Will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to validate the functionality of software applications using tools like Selenium and Languages like Java. Collaborating with software developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to create comprehensive test plans and strategies that outline the testing scope, objectives, and approach. Developing test cases, test scenarios, and test data to cover various aspects of software functionality, including functional, integration and regression testing. Implementing and maintaining automated build and deployment pipelines, ensuring that test suites are integrated into the CI/CD process to catch defects early. Executing automated and manual test cases and reporting defects in a bug-tracking system like JIRA. Running tests on different environments and configurations to ensure compatibility. Writing SQL queries to interact with databases and validate data integrity during automated testing. Regularly updating and enhancing automated test scripts to adapt to changes in the software application, ensuring test coverage remains comprehensive. Investigate and analyze the root causes of defects and work with development teams to resolve issues. Communicate test progress and results to stakeholders in Agile ceremonies like sprint reviews and daily stand-ups. Work with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure quality is integrated into the development process. Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and efficiency within the Agile framework. Document test processes, methodologies, and best practices for knowledge sharing within the team. Position requires up to 100% domestic travel.
