Our client, a professional association in Alexandria, VA, is seeking a direct-hire Speechwriter to provide speechwriting and communications support to their CEO!

About You:

• 6+ years of experience in speechwriting or executive communications; corporate or non-profit speechwriting experience is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills; Demonstrated ability to simplify messaging and craft compelling narratives.
• Open to occasional travel and evening or weekend work if needed.
• Ability to work 3 days/week in the Alexandria, VA office.

The Job:

• Prepare speeches, presentations, talking points, briefing memos, decks, and other deliverables for the CEO.
• Manage communications strategies for the CEO; main consistent messaging across multiple communication channels.
• Monitor business performance, media, and other sources for trends, statistics, and ideas to develop a thought-leading point of view for the CEO.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and contractors to develop executive and corporate communications.
• Track and evaluate outcomes of CEO communications for continuous improvement.

This is a direct-hire position that offers a salary of $110K-$120K with an annual performance bonus.
