Our client, a global consulting firm, is conducting a search for a Senior Manager of HRIS.

As the subject matter expert on HR technology, you will combine expert-level proficiency in HR systems and solutions with a deep knowledge of HR processes and an understanding of user requirements to develop a technology roadmap that enables the HR team to effectively manage human capital data and information throughout the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

In partnership with IT and internal stakeholders, evaluate current technology and end user requirements to develop a HR technology roadmap in support of business priorities; participate in envisioning the strategic roadmap for HR technology.

  • Advise internal stakeholders on best practices for optimizing the use of existing HR tools and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation in HR processes.
  • Translate business objectives into solutions with clearly defined scope, timing deliverables, resources, and key measures of success.
  • Review releases for new functionality and to optimize existing processes; support feature releases, working with business users, IT, vendors, and other support teams to understand downstream impacts of system enhancements.
  • Understand the dissemination of information from HR systems to other related systems and consider the downstream impacts of changes and enhancements to HR systems to other business processes.
  • Scope, prioritize, plan, test and implement system changes and enhancements in partnership with IT, HR teams and external vendors.
  • Oversee and be involved with day-to-day operations and management of HR systems including troubleshooting issues and responding to queries from HR users.
  • Create guidelines for data consistency and monitor integrity of data entered into HR systems, considering regulatory requirements as it relates to the handling of personal data

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of HRIS experience with exposure to HR technology across multiple HR functions (i.e., benefits, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, etc.).
  • Experience with Workday, Oracle and/or UKG required.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and HR data flow into such tools.
  • Strong understanding of core HR processes and practices, having experience with process redesign, security, data integrity, system configuration and design, and release management process.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills, including the ability to translate between technical and business groups and effectively manage expectations of multiple constituents.
  • Ability to be hands-on in problem solving and HRIS operations, while also being able to understand and envision the full scope of HR technology, systems, and processes
  • Proven ability to understand and consider the downstream impact of technology changes on other systems and/or processes, and effectively integrate those considerations into solutions.
  • Knowledge of HR technology industry trends and best practices.
