Job Responsibilities

    • Prepare and post daily and monthly entries for accounts including cash and various cash reconcilements
    • Prepare prepaid expenses and fixed assets, and other general ledger accounts, as needed.
    • Assist in recording and classifying accounts payable/expenses, audit preparation, and other ad hoc reporting.
    • Maintains accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure that the organization's accounting records and financial statements are accurate and timely
    • Monitors processes and internal controls to ensure accounting records are accurate and to prevent fraud
    • Working with and maintaining data in ERP system
    • Interact with internal and external customers to analyze and review accounting items.

Required Skills and Experience

    • 0-1 years of total accounting experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
    • Knowledge of the GAAP
    • Advanced MS Excel and other MS solutions
    • Experience working with GL, A/P, A/R, and collections is a plus
    • Strong analytical and investigative skills. Strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and disseminate pertinent information efficiently.
    • Must have strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal relationships (Excellent communication skills, both written and oral)
    • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities and work product.
