Our client, a federally funded research and development firm, with a strong reputation has an opening for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA). The DBA will support a large enterprise team responsible for maintaining the integrity, security, best practices and performance of databases hosted on Oracle and SQL Server Environments.

The role is a contract opening working as an employee of Beacon Hill Staffing and the role is 100% remote with occasion travel to Massachusetts (Infrequent, approximately once every 4-6 months for a period of 1-2 days), and due the nature of the work, qualified applicants must be able to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Level Clearance. The opening is funded through for 40 hours weekly through May 2026, with the ability to extend beyond the initial 3-year period.

Responsibilities:

The Data Based Administrator who will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, security, best practices and performance of databases hosted on Oracle and SQL Server Environments.

Required Minimum

• Oracle Database Administration on Linux
• Oracle based clustering
• Qualified applicants must be able to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Level Clearance.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Bachelor's of Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent relevant work experience.
