Job Description

As a Test Strategy Solution Architect, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership, guidance, and support in formulating strategic technology approaches and end to end systems architectures that support the strategy and goals of the organization. This position is requiring broad knowledge of the information technology landscape - stretching from infrastructure, network, client, server, emerging technology standards and trends. Deeper understanding of Telecommunications, wireless networks is a must.

Qualifications

• Automation strategy experience: hands on experience developing and leading automation strategy (performance testing, regression testing, etc.). Automation tools: Java (basics), Python, Angular
• Wireless knowledge: 4G/5G provisioning experience. Needs to understand Wireless Telecom and have experience documenting QA architecture requirements.
• Mobile testing background: Example tools: JMeter, QTest, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Rest-Assured for API testing, Robot Framework (Python), Cucumber-jvm, JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Interface with technology and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, define, and document QA architecture requirements to improve environments and testing systems in the Wireless Telecom.
• Create functional, operational and interface architecture models and use human-system interfaces to develop suitable architectures supporting ease of usability using a variety of tools and technologies: OSS/BSS, Java (basics), MySQL, Jira
• Hands on knowledge with Automation tools, Manual testing, performance testing, regression testing, JMeter, QTest, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Rest-Assured for API testing, Robot Framework (Python), Cucumber-jvm and JIRA to efficiently formulate test solutions.
• Proactively strategize and drive test design, and execution and ensure the implementation process is followed.
• Use existing test frameworks and lead the progress of test automation to optimize automation capabilities for progression and regression suites.
• Formulate load models to gain high standards in performance and endurance testing for mobile functionalities.
• Proactively raise issues if specification will lead to quality, system performance or architectural issues in functionality or logic and recommend action plans and solutions to QA team, management, architects, and product managers.
• Recommend Mobile testing architecture specifications and participate in the creation of detailed technical design documents.
• Participate in technical design reviews, functional specification reviews, and peer reviews with intent to scrutinize and identify gaps in design or requirements that may impede testing the functionality.
• Coordinate closely with the engineering/ cross functional teams to ensure thorough development and testing on relevant platforms as is appropriate for the particular task/project.

Related Work Experience (Preferred)

7+ years of experience as a solution architect in telecom industry with deeper knowledge of QA processes and tools.

5+ years of experience using Java (basics), JMeter, QTest, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Rest-Assured for API testing, MySQL, Seibel CRM, Service Now, HP QC tool, Agile JIRA, Confluence.

3+ years of experience using, Enterprise Architecture tool, UI/wire-framing & UML.
