Systems Engineer (Hybrid- Boston) compensation: $124-140K
An established and fast-growing professional services firm is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their Boston based team. This person will be responsible for firm-wide implementation and support of infrastructure and datacenter facilities in addition to scalability, documentation and continuity of all business systems, databases, and networks.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works with the Director of IT Infrastructure to develop firm-wide technical infrastructure, voice/data communication networks and more.
- Establishes efficient and effective change control management for systems and infrastructure.
- Ensures all system technology assets are tracked and that periodic audits are performed.
- Define, recommend and implement standard IT operating procedures and guidelines.
- Evaluates current business processes and identifies gaps with industry benchmarks and current trends.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware problems escalated from the Technical Support team.
- Manage a team of Service Desk Engineers. Provide coaching and support the development of skills and capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree
- MCSE certification
- 6+ years of experience providing systems infrastructure support in production environments.
- Hands on proficiency with VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Netapp Storage
- Data center implementation experience
