Position Overview: The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business needs, identifying areas for improvement, and developing comprehensive solutions to enhance our operational efficiency. The role requires expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly within the Waterfall methodology, and experience with Project Management Office (PMO) requirements and process flows.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
    • Translate business needs into clear, detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
    • Conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops to elicit requirements and gather feedback.
  2. Process Flow and Documentation:

    • Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, data models, and other documentation to support business analysis.
    • Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
  3. SDLC and Waterfall Methodology:

    • Apply Waterfall methodology principles throughout the SDLC, from initial planning through to deployment and maintenance.
    • Ensure that all phases of the SDLC are adhered to, and that deliverables are met according to project timelines.
  4. Stakeholder Communication:

    • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements.
    • Facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate findings, solutions, and progress.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on SDLC and Waterfall methodology.
  • Proven experience in developing and documenting process flows and business requirements.
  • Familiarity with Project Management Office (PMO) requirements and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
