Location: 5 days on site
Duration: 6+ months - most likely several years
Shift: 6am-2:30pm
Position Description:
- Advise on advanced technology in non-destructive instrumentation and inspection principles, processes and techniques.
- Guide implementation of advanced inspection or test techniques.
- Develop innovative test processes and equipment.
- Consult suppliers and customers to resolve technical issues involving tests, processes and equipment.
- Develop principles and methods for analyzing test, inspection or statistical data.
- Consult on corrective action to resolve process or product anomalies.
- Participate on enterprise and industry teams to influence the standardization and regulation of training and certification requirements.
Required Skills:
- Must be certified to Level III or II in accordance with NAS-410 in Ultrasonics
- Experience in composites
- Experience in ultrasonics (must be certified in NAS 410) - level 2 must have 800 hours of on the job training and 40 hours of class sessions
