Location: Claymont, DE (On site 3 days/week)
We are seeking an experienced BI Analytics Developer with a strong background in Power BI to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in BI analytics, specializing in data modeling and dashboard development. This role will focus on creating user-friendly reports and dashboards, primarily using SAP data, and will require a blend of technical skills and effective communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dashboard Development: Design and develop advanced dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring they meet user requirements and provide valuable insights.
- Data Modeling: Create efficient data models within Power BI to optimize performance and enhance visualization capabilities.
- User Consumption Reports: Deliver user consumption reports/stories/dashboards that effectively communicate key metrics and business intelligence.
- SAP Data Integration: Utilize SAP data to build dashboards using both direct and import connections, ensuring accurate and relevant information is presented.
- Data Engineering Support: Apply basic data engineering skills using Python/Spark to support Power BI visualizations and enhance data processing capabilities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure dashboards align with business objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Power BI features, including new Fabric capabilities and One Lake Houses, to implement best practices in dashboard creation.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge of PowerApps, Power BI embedded, and Power Automate with team members to enhance overall BI capabilities.
Requirements:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in BI analytics, with a focus on Power BI as a front-end tool.
- Technical Skills: Strong hands-on capabilities in Power BI, particularly in data modeling and dashboard creation using SAP data.
- Data Engineering: Experience in data engineering using Python/Spark is essential to support Power BI visualizations.
