6 month contract to Hire. FULLY REMOTE.
Ideal candidates will be within a reasonable drive to Stamford, CT to make in office meetings as needed a few times a quarter.
Looking to back up a current Systems Engineer to provide help in supporting and provide his team to support other projects. Team is level 2 support folks. Will get about 5 incidents a week supporting Business Application Developers and developers. Responsible for database backups, server patching, schedule jobs of daily tasks they are monitoring. They will impliment SQL server if there is new server builds.
Must Haves:
- Really looking for someone with a blend of skills with Windows Server Admin and SQL DBA experience
- Experience with level 3 server support.
-Need to know SQL server, Always on Architecture, Microsoft Servers and Azure (not AWS)
- Experience working with offshore teams
