Tax Analyst - Part Time (20-30 hours per week)

Our client in Bedford, MA is seeking a Part Time Tax Analyst will report to the Tax Director.

What you'll do:

• Responsible for all of the state indirect tax compliance
• Responsible for ad-hoc assistance on various state income tax matters.
• Assist in the preparation of worldwide quarterly and annual tax provision, including supporting documentation for the US and foreign tax provisions, and related journal entries.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly US federal and state income tax estimated payments.
• Assist with compiling information needed for US federal and state income tax returns prepared by outside service providers.
• Assist with US federal and state income tax audits.
• Respond to various customer forms required from various foreign jurisdictions.
• Prepare tax account reconciliations.
• Assist with responding to state tax notices.
• Organize and manage various documentations, foreign tax payments, and foreign tax calendars.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of tax and/or accounting experience.
• Possess strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in use of MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced working environment.
• Experience with Oracle, OneSource Tax Provision (OTP), and Alteryx is preferred, but not required.
