Technical Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative
Manufacturing company in Southwest Charlotte is looking for a Technical Inside Sales/ Customer Service Representative. Temp to perm opportuity; regular business hours; 45K - 55K salary plus bonus
Responsibilities:
- Read and understand technical drawings/technical specs/and manual pages
- Prepare quotes and sales orders
- Input order information for processing
- Go out to warehouse floor if necessary for update on inventory
- Develop accounts by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items; finding ways to add value to customer relationship
- Maintain communication with customer by troubleshooting, reporting, and tracking problems.
- Fill orders by transferring orders to fulfillment; communicating expected delivery date; explaining stock-outs.
Requirements:
- Experience with quotes, sales orders, order entry, (invoicing a plus) in an ERP system
- Excellent customer service skills (phone and email)
- Experience working in ERP systems
- Experience working with/reading technical drawings; understanding of Bill of Material
