Our client, a healthcare company located in Waltham, is seeking a Travel Service Manager! The Travel Service Manager will manage and enforce service levels per contract and ensures that Transient, Group and VIP travel services are performed according to terms of the contract. This role will require you to multi-tasks, prioritizes and traffics daily program and events to a team as well as client deliverables. This role will compensate up to 35/hr depending on experience and have the potentially to transition permanent to a max of 85k per year.

Hours: 8:30 - 5:30

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manages all aspects of the corporate travel department
* Responsible for generating awareness and promoting adherence to all expense guidelines
* Manages policy guidelines
* Maintains relationships with vendors - preferred vendor maximization, incentives payment and accruals
* Aligns with Legal, Procurement and Finance teams to manage contracts, vendor (Travel/Accommodations/Transportation) programs, commissions, and rebates
* Manages team, monitors service level agreements, invoices for payment, historical data, unused tickets, disaster response, and quality of external and internal customer service
* Manages and supervises VIP Travel
* Manages credit card and other programs: UATP cards, Vpay, Travel Cards, UATP, etc
* Manages Concur travel space, messaging, banner ads, communications, clinic, and FMC office location uploads, maximize Concur capabilities for travel process and service improvements
* Recommends improvement and innovation in travel programs
* Manages and implements annual training program for all company groups
* Duty of Care and Disaster Response process and policies, proactively explores Travel DR for improvements
* Understands and prepares for current and future changes in the travel industry
* Manages content on the Employee Service Center
* Provides technical guidance and assists with various projects as assigned
* Performs other related duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
* 8 - 12 years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* 5 previous working experience as corporate travel manager
* Group and transient travel experience
* Strong knowledge of Concur, Cvent, MS Office and CTM/GDS solutions
* Strong time-management skills
* Ability to multi-task
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Critical-thinker and problem-solver
* Customer-centered mindset, highly professional
* BA in Tourism or similar relevant role a plus
* Any additional certification related to traveling and tourism considered as an advantage
