Required Skills:
- 2-3+ years of technical support experience with:
- Providing client application support
- Linux server environment: linux command line, linux file structure, running scripts, change directory, run scripts, manipulate/traverse to a different folder.
- Windows server environment: running batch files, checking log files, checking event log, knowing the service status, how to restart it, task scheduler.
- MS SQL and Oracle DB experience: accessing database through SQL, retrieving data, knowing how to connect database from SQL.
- Scripting: python, bash or shell
- Must have "go-getter" mentality, eager to learn, great customer service experience and strong communication
Bonus Skills:
- Live scan fingerprint recognition systems - hardware troubleshooting
- Public sector or government experience
- General IT support: set up work stations, patching, troubleshooting servers
