Our client, a global investment management company, is seeking a direct-hire VP of Government Relations to join their team!
About You:
- 7+ years of Government Affairs in the Financial Services space.
- A Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Must be able to work within political infrastructure for engagement and reactions.
- Excellent oral and written communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
- Open to occasional travel.
The Job:
- Handle strategy related to federal and regulatory issues.
- Partner with the sales teams to produce content for client presentations and web articles.
- Engage with nationally elected officials and trade associations to understand new and upcoming legislation that might impact the firm and/or clients.
- Work with partner lobbying firms on assessing policy and regulatory issues, strategy, and implementation.
- Attend political events and complete additional tasks as required.
This is a direct-hire position that offers a salary of $150K-$200K (DOE).
